Dimplex Low Wattage Panel Heaters
I bought the Dimplex Low Wattage Panel Heaters ARLWP800TI (800W) model of this range of heater to replace my very old, heavy and large storage heater (3Kw). My flat consists of a small open plan bathroom, kitchen and living/bedroom so this is the sole source of heat. It is very attractive, plain, simple heater and the thinnest I have seen on the market, wall mounted it is only 3.5cm deep! Very easy to use simply plug in and turn on with the option of the 24hr timer. After turning on it does take about 1 hour until it is producing a consistant amount of heat and the front of the panel does gets hot (obviously) but after this initial period it definately keeps the room at a comfortable temperature were this particular model can then be set to 300W. If you make the best of the situation and have a well insulated home this heater will be enough to keep you comfortable. However it is not an instant source of heat. You will need to be clever and set the timer to come on 1 hour before you wake up or 1 hour before you get home from work, etc. Overall I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone in a small flat like mine, just do your self favour and keep the heat in.
