How it works
The heater heats the water inside the radiator and the mini pump circulates the heated water around the radiator.
The built in air thermostat then intelligently senses the room temperature and the radiator responds accordingly .
As soon as the room has reached the desired room temperature the radiator stops drawing electricity.
Technical Features
Due to their intelligent and advanced control features Easy Heat radiators are economical and energy efficient to run.
The radiators do not constantly draw electricity, They operate in cycles of 5 minutes on and three minutes off. During one hour of running time the radiator draws electricity for approximately 40 minutes.Once the desired room temperature is reached the radiator stops drawing electricity resulting in low running costs for the users.
As the exact times and temperatures can be set, any electricity and heat waste is avoided.Thanks to the rapid heat up of the radiators and the intelligent control features, when you want heat, you get heat.
Easy heat electric radiators can be operated with Economy 10 - a low cost energy tariff available for certain periods throughout the day, evening and night.The running costs of the radiator are reduced even further when operated on Economy 10 as the tariff is approximately half the cost of peak rate electricity.With three different time periods available, Economy 10 provides greater flexibility than economy 7

Running Costs - A Guideline
Approximate running costs per hour & assume correct radiator size in relation to heat losses
One kilowatt hour equal to 12.6 pence (exluding vat)
12.6 pence is based on scottish & southern standard electric fuel tariff and correct as Sept 08
These running costs should be used as a guideline only and are not definitive.
Running costs will differ slightly depending on tariff of electricity suppliers.

Q) How long do the radiators take to heat up?
A) Approximately 10 minutes
Q) Can the radiators be used on Economy 7
A) Easy Heat radiators are more efficient and economical than storage heaters. The radiators are direct acting and heat is produced quickly and efficiently.
The radiators are totally controllable via the timer and thermostat. Storage heaters however offer background heat disipation from the early morning charge yet the heat is often needed to be supplemented by direct electrical heating on peak time electricity.
Q) what are the running costs of the radaitors?
A) The continuous running cost of a 1kW radiator on a standard rate is approximately 12.6p per hour*
Q) Cant he radiators be used in Europe?
A) Yes, however the voltage supply to the socket must be 230volts and the plug will need to be changed
Q) How far do the radiators project from the wall?
A) 140mm (including bracket fixings)
Q) Can the RF controller be used with the timer model
A) No
Q) How many radiators can the RF Controller programme?
A) The RF controller can programme multi radiators within a 12 mtr radius; it cannot though programme radiators individually.
If radaitors are to be installed into a dwelling it is recomended a couple of controllers be used to create zones i.e: upstairs and downstairs.
Q) How long is the cable length?
A) Approximately 1.5 metres complete with a BS 13 amp moulded plug
Q) Which side are the controlls and the cable feed from?
A) The cable feeds from the right hand side as you look at it, the controlls are also on the right
Q) Are the radiators available in different colours?
A) No - the radiators are supplied in traditional radiator white (RAL9016)
Q) Do the radiators come filled with water already?
A) Yes, During production the radiators are filled with water and fernox, which is a combination of rust inhibitor and anti-freeze.
Q) Do the radaitors need to be bled?
A) No - no maintenance needs to be done tot he radiators at all.
Q) Can the radiators be mounted vertically?
A) No
Q) Are the radiators suitable for bathroom installation?
A) The radiator is a "class I" IP44 Device and it can be installed in bathroom zone 2 and 3 provided that no control unit can be touched by people using the bath tub or the shower. (please seek advice from your electrician ragarding installation in bathroom / wet rooms)
Q) How long is the warranty period?
A) two years from the date of purchase. The warranty in europe is only valid on return to base (UK)
